Running a full-time Martial Arts gym is a unique venture. It requires balancing the business side with your passion, which can be a challenging endeavor. My primary goal is to prioritize training and find the most effective ways to impart the material to our students. Success, for me, lies in making the learning process as seamless as possible for them.
Maintaining strong relationships with the families involved is equally crucial. When anyone steps into the studio—be it a parent, student, or disciple—they instantly become part of our extended family. It's essential to address and collaborate with each individual. This, in my view, is one of the joys of being a teacher. Our Kwoon, School, Dojo, or Gym is like a second home, and it deserves to be treated as such.
